🎉 Play Date Special – Friday, March 13
Grab your crew and come through.
We’re running our $2 off per kid Play Date perk that day — because everything is better when you bring a friend.
Tag the group chat. Make it a thing.
🍀 St. Patrick’s Party – March 17
Wear your green and come celebrate with us!
We’ll have themed crafts for the kids, a festive treat, and all the regular climbing, sliding, and running-around energy you expect — just with a little extra luck mixed in.
It’s the perfect excuse to get out of the house and let them burn it out.

🎂 Birthday Cake Kit Week – March 24–29
This one was too fun not to bring back.
During this week, you can pay for Open Play with a birthday cake kit donation instead of your regular admission.
It’s simple:
Bring a birthday cake kit and that covers one child’s open play admission.
We’ll donate the kits to families who could use a little extra celebration.
Play + purpose. We love to see it.

As a mother to five boys, and a former foster parent, who was raised by a social worker, Cassy recognizes the importance of play and community for children and their parents. Her goal is to create a space where children can exercise their endless energy and imagination. When she isn't working to make That Play Place somewhere she'd want to take her kids, you can find her running Wilder Party supplies, volunteering her time to her community, or trying to get through her TBR list.

Miss Kathie has worked in child development for over 30 years, and more importantly, raised four amazing children and supports them as they raise her 13 grandbabies. This woman has seen it all, and maintains there is no one way to raise a child. When she isn't working at That Play Place, you can find her helping families at Iroquois School District, with her grandbabies, or at a concert. Miss Kathie has yet to come across a question about child development and early education she couldn't answer or find a referral for, and we are so lucky to have her at That Play Place!

Jake is a man who married a woman who wanted to show their 5 sons that women can do anything. He is also certified to inspect and maintain playgrounds and bounce houses; which means he is the guy who makes sure everything is safe for your little ones. He is an amazing man who does other stuff, but is mostly playing the supporting role in this endeavor.

Stephen is a father who takes his love of playtime with his children and mixes it with his enthusiasm to make a better environment. With a background that features over 15 years of mental health and early childhood development programs, Stephen brings a creative mindset that helps with the ideas to improve the much-needed socialization skills of children while promoting a safe and productive environment. Stephen may look like a big scary giant but with a little bit of time kids seem to pick up with the giant soft teddy bear that he truly is.
